I believe that part of preparing for the SAT test begins with understanding the SAT test. If you understand what’s inside the SAT test, you will better understand how to prepare for the test and what to focus on to be successful. So, let’s see what’s inside the SAT.
Students are tested in three major areas of study: reading, math, writing and language. Within each broad area of study, a certain sub-set of skills are required for students to be successful. Let’s take a look at what they are.

Understanding the foundations of each section of the SAT helps you determine your own needs when it comes to study and preparation. You are better able to determine your own strengths and weaknesses, which is essential to studying smart for the SAT. Study hard for what you don’t know and review for what you do know. A little practice daily, like answering five questions, goes a long way to successfully taking the SAT Test. There are a lot of options available to preparing for the test.
